Author, Lecturer and Curator

Ms. Bensoussan has authored many articles and gives lectures on topics ranging from connoisseurship and the arts, to curbing the illegal traffic of cultural property.

During her residence in Paris, Ms. Bensoussan served as the French Editor for HALI, the London-based journal of antique rugs and textiles, publishing many articles on her research. In 1981 she was a guest curator of an important exhibition in Boulogne-Billancourt near Paris, which brought together for the first time many unknown and unpublished early Oriental carpets from the Musee des Arts Decoratifs, the Louvre, and private French collections. In 1982 Ms Bensoussan gave a lecture at the ICOC in London, which culminated several years of research on centuries of silk weaving in Istanbul. While living in Paris, Pamela also studied the history of French furniture and European tapestries.
